I miss this
little girl
She is all
grown up now
And has a
world of her own
Fighting her
own battles
Winning
some, losing some
I missed the
twinkle in her eyes
Her always
can do attitude
Her adventurous spirit
Now, she had
many fears
She doubted
her ability
I pray that
someday
She will
regain her better self
That she
change for the better
Explore the
world without fear
Enjoy her
life without reservation
I love her
so
She is the
child of my heart
My blessing,
my miracle
And I kneel
in prayer
For her eyes
to twinkle again
Note: I wrote this last November 29, 2019, when I saw my memory on social media of her picture of twinkling eyes and a scratch on her forehead. I am trying to search that exact photo on my album but can't find it.
