Daday's Kitchen: Half Pound Grilled Bacon Burger Melt

Delicious. Juicy. Pure goodness. Yum, yum, yum with her eyes close, her head moving from side to side and with two-thumbs up...that's how Daniz describe this burger.
For us...it's the best burger ever :).

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 12 strips Bacon, fried
  • 4 leaves Lettuce, torn
  • 1pc Tomato big, sliced
  • 1 pc Cucumber, sliced
  • 1 pc Onion, sliced
  • 8 Cheese, sliced
  • 4 pcs Burger Buns

Patties:
  1. In a bowl, season ground beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Divide into 4 portions.
  3. Get one portion, roll into a ball and press the center until it flattens.
  4. Using  your thumb, press the center to make it thinner than the side.
  5. Set aside in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to bind the meat.
  6. Pre-heat the stove-top grill for high heat.
  7. Lightly oil the grill grate.0
  8. Grill the first side about 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
  9. Flip over the burger, and during the last minute or two of cooking put 1 slice of cheese on top until it melts.
Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato cucumber and onion, as desired.
Add slice of cheese and bacon on top.
Add dressing (mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, mustard) as preferred.

Serve with ice cold Coca Cola and potato chips.
